Holder of a mechanical engineering degree, Benoît has worked as engineer in the transport industry in France and abroad for railway infrastructure constructions. Then he joined the merchant navy as officer and sailed in different type of vessels (ferry, ocean tug, container carrier, RoRo, Offshore vessel, crewboat  and war vessels). After many navigations accross the seas, he joined a land based company as marine surveyor. In 2020 he decided to create his own business by launching COMPASS360 specialized in marine surveys.
